Shipping
is available to most major airports in the United States and parts
of Canada. We have a pet travel agency that flys our puppies for
us out of Kansas City, Missouri. They take great care with the
flight arrangements made for our puppies when they are ready to
go to their new homes.
The
puppies must be 8 weeks of age before they are allowed by the
airlines to fly. The puppies are sent with plenty of food and
water, plus puppy treats, have a nice bedding of shredded paper
to lay on. The airlines are very careful with the babies and check
on them at each location. The compartment they fly in is air conditioned
in the warmer weather, heated in the cooler weather. We haven't
had any problems yet flying our puppies, as the airlines are very
careful with them and their care.
It usually takes the puppy about 5 to 10 minutes to adjust to
getting out of the pet carrier and that is normal after flying.
He'll need to potty and then have a good drink of fresh water.
When the puppy arrives, he'll just need the normal reassurance
that he is with the people who love him and that he is safe. Your
puppy will be so busy playing, he won't have time to miss his
litter mates!!
He might cry a little bit the first night, but he should do fine
after that. I hope this has helped to answer any questions you
might have about your puppy flying. We sure wouldn't fly the babies
if it wasn't safe for them.
